
Mark Vazquez
EVP of Dealer Operations, Westlake Holdings
Mark Vazquez’s experience in the auto industry began in 1994 at his father’s used car dealership. There, he gained firsthand exposure to all aspects of running an independent dealership—washing cars, working with vendors, purchasing inventory, selling vehicles, and handling financing. He also served as a collector for the dealership’s Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) portfolio, gaining early insight into the importance of managing receivables and customer relationships. It was also where he was first introduced to Westlake Financial. As a teenager, he worked with Westlake’s DOS-based decisioning program, known as the Buy Program™, to help his father’s dealership sell more vehicles by leveraging the power of instant decisioning—without ever having to wait for a lender to return a decision.
After graduating from the College of Automotive Management and the University of Southern California (USC), Mark began developing his career with Westlake Financial in 2002. He has held numerous leadership roles including Dealer Account Manager, Regional Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He now serves as Executive Vice President of Dealer Operations for Westlake Holdings, where he works closely with leadership across Westlake Financial, Westlake Flooring, Western Funding, and other Nowlake production teams to increase dealer engagement, drive growth, and market share.
When not involved in the day-to-day operations of Westlake, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and his two dogs—an English Bulldog named Reglo and a Bull Terrier named Pablo.
