Edward Kaiping

Edward is the Divisional Controller of Western Funding. He joined Western Funding’s parent company, Westlake Financial Services, in 2016 supporting the Company’s third-party lending activities, the acquisition of CULA, LLC and the annual audit of the Company’s financial statements in advancing positions. Edward joined Western Funding in 2019 as Divisional Controller, a position that includes responsibility for financial reporting and finance functions.

He brings nearly a decade of public and private accounting experience in both the Technology and Financial Services sectors for both large and small enterprises. He worked as a financial auditor with Deloitte, working in the firm’s Financial Services Industry practice.

Edward is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a B.S. in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant.
